GA traffic?

Recommended Posts

I have been extremely pleased with PSXTraffic at large and medium sized airports. Lately I've been flying into smaller airports (PAKT, Ketchikan, Alaska, for example) and the tarmac is empty (live: 0, parked static: 0). I'm curious about what PSXTraffic does for GA aircraft (maybe nothing?). And the PSXTraffic manual says to turn MSFS traffic off, so the result is that the smaller airports are completely empty.

Thoughts?

It's not a necessity, but it would be interesting to have a few static aircraft on the ramp from time to time.

Kengtung, Myanmar

?? Not exactly a GA hub that probably doesn't have much at all for coverage or traffic even if it did. Default VYKG only has 7 parking spots as it is, don't expect much.

I'll let you know... on the ground in 20 mins.

Edit: no traffic, but Kengtung is a sleepy airport anyway.

Point taken, though. My general question was about more traditional small airports, like PAKT, not ones in countries without a GA culture. I'm flying now with "Park fake" checked and I'll see what that's like.

PAKT might be tough as well as it's due to it location probably doesn't have surveillance to the ground let alone on the ground.

You might have some luck looking in your PSXT\airports\archive for specific airports and see what it shows. I'm often surprised at what I thought wouldn't get captured movement wise but does. Way more GA and Military than I would initially have thought.

Why is my downloaded version illegitimate?

Because that "big download" is not coming from AIG.

AIG OCI only provide links to the sites where the legal versions of the models/liveries are hosted, and automates the individual downloads. For some of these sites you need to log in.

It is legally speaking in general not allowed to re-distribute AI aircraft (software). That's why you do not find  models/liveries packed with PSXT too.
