Roman was a wonderful person. When I first began XML gauge programming, he frequently helped me to solve problems, and taught me some invaluable tips and techniques. I've been "retired" from both 3d modeling, XML and C++ programming for several years now, as my short-term cognitive abilities have severely declined in my old age. I still remember Roman's seemingly boundless enthusiasm and gracious help over the years.
