Search function not working

It has been several days now and I see that the search index is being reset for at least the second time.
It might be that this is not the solution to the current problem?

Being new, I thought I was doing something wrong.  Add me to the list of unsuccessful searchers.

I should have added to my original post above that there is a message on my failed search that may be (seems like it could be) relevant,  It is "The search index is currently processing. Current results may not be complete."

Not working for me as well.   I hope this is being investigated and will be fixed soon.  I just tried searching for a post I made three years ago, and without search working there is no easy way to get to it.   I know what subforum I made the post in but I will have to go hundreds of pages deep to get to it manually.  😟

The search function is broken again.

Confirmed, 0734 EDT, August 11, 2024, use of the search function returns zero results.
