How do you calculate the fuel consumption?

Don't have it installed, but isn't there a performance section included for your flight planning?

I use Simbrief for flightplanning and there is no airframe for C421. It would be nice to be able to take a realistic amount of fuel (and weight) for every flight.

Do you mean with the a/c? There are some but perhaps the information there is beyond my understanding...

Yes, and they are usually straight forward.  If you look e.g.  at the planned cruising altitude and power setting you will find the corresponding  speed and fuel flow.

Just checked the simbrief website and if you use the C404, the results should be very similar.
