This is a very boring video of a test flight taking off from Kodiak, AK in the Milviz 310R in Prepar3D v2.2... That is, it's boring after the rather scary takeoff! In any case, focus on the frame rates with both GTN units doing their thing. They add nearly zero load on the sim, which is truly remarkable! Best viewed full-screen in 1080p, recorded with NVidia's Shadowplay.

Just purchased the PA31 Navajo and I like it so far. I'm trying to figure out how to install the GTN750 in the VC as I have seen on line. The integration on-line looks pretty seamless (looks like a Bert mod). I thought it would be easy to replicate using the F1 GTN Configuration but it's not working. Well, it does work but, it's not integrated in the VC. Anyone know who to integrate so the GTN750 replaces the original unit in VC?

I found this excellent freeware - Got Friends Got Gravel Vertigo - 360 knots in the air and take off or touch down in STOL manner. Thank you very much, Got Friends! It is allready equipped with the G3X Avionics - formerly advanced by the WT mod - now replaced by the default AAU G3X which has lost some of the WT modifications, mainly the autopilot switch functions. So now I have to use an additional tool to operate the autopilot which is called RemoteFlightServer / Remote Flight App on the IPhone. There is still documented a way to replace the G3X MFD by the PMS GTN 750 (helped by a mod made by JayDee (JDs PMSGTN750 on other Mods)). The GTN750 incorporates an autopilot panel and also has VNAV functions which I would like to use to optimate the Vertigo flight experience on travel flights. Unfortunately the GTN replacement seems to be no longer functional since the AAU1 or - that is my question now - do I do something wrong? In the document "Vertigo and the Garmin GTN750" under Step 3 I am told to go to the \GotGravel_Vertigo\panel\ directory and rename panel.cfg to panel_G3X.cfg. That ist possible. Followed by renaming PANEL_GTN750.CFG to PANEL.CFG. But - ??? - there is no file called PANEL_GTN70.CFG in the directory. Was it there in former versions and is it now absent? Has someone done what I am keen to do and was successful and can tell me how to replace the G3X??

GTN 750 Integration/Questions
Topher posted a topic in PA31 Navajo HD Series for FSX | P3D | X-Plane
Hello All So I am mainly a GA pilot, but i am fed up of the standard FSX GPS systems and I am looking at purchasing Flight 1's GTN 750 GPS, it looks incredible. I do have a few questions though, - How easy is it to integrate into the Navajo? - Can it also be integrated into the Pilatus PC 12? - Are there any adverse effects in Carenado aircraft when the GTN is used? Thanks for any advice -
I created checklists for the Carenado Aero Commander 500S Shrike to be integrated into your GTN750. The file includes Normal Procedures, Emergency Procedures, References and Acrobatic Maneuvers. If you see any errors, inaccuracies or anything you think should be added/emended, please let me know. Any feedback will be appreciated. LINK Note. In case you don't know, in order to load checklists into your GTN, you have to download the latest GTN version (v.14) from Flight1 first. Then, make sure you have the latest GTN Trainer for PC version. Download the file from the link above, copy it into the main AC folder and rename it "chklist.ace" (thus removing the "_AC500S" section). The GTN will read it automatically when you load the aircraft in your sim next time. Once you are in the cockpit, checklists are accessible from the GTN interface under Main/Utilities/Checklists. If you want to edit the file, download the free ACE tool from the Garmin site: https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=5075.
